Welcome to the Cherokee
Chamber of Commerce
The Cherokee Chamber of Commerce and its members serve as the united voice of the business community in Cherokee, North Carolina. The Chamber is a non-profit organization that brings together businesses, professionals, organizations and educational institutions that are dedicated to promoting a healthy business community in and around the town of Cherokee. Community involvement makes Cherokee and the surrounding area a more pleasant and profitable place to manage and achieve a successful business. Together we can accomplish what no one individual can do alone.
The Chamber collaborates with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians on programs related to promotion and economic development, helping the community market to a larger number of potential visitors to the area. With a focus on the Cherokee business community, the Chamber's programs are designed to complement Tribal programs. Chief Michell Hicks supports the Chamber of Commerce as an important entity in the overall effort to energize historical and new businesses in the Cherokee community.
The Cherokee Chamber of Commerce / Visitors Center is conveniently located at 1148 Tsali Road (US Hwy 441) – situated in a beautiful rustic mountain log cabin with plenty of parking. The Center is large enough to hold community meetings and is home to the Qualla-T Customer Service Workshop training certification. We invite you to stop by and relax awhile in one of rocking chairs on our front porch.
